Editorial, Half-brother to Uncle Mo to Stand For Climax Stallions

Editorial breaks his maiden at Gulfstream in his second start

Lexington, Ky- Editorial, a 3-year-old half-brother to super-sire Uncle Mo, by sire of sires War Front, has been acquired by Climax Stallions and will stand in North America for the 2018 breeding season.

From an exceptional family, Editorial retires from racing with a 1-1-0 record out of 2 starts.

Climax Stallions, who syndicate each of their stallions similar to a racing partnership has had great success attracting mares to affordable stallions with deep families. “We are very excited for the opportunity to stand Editorial at stud as he fits our program perfectly. Under the care of Todd Pletcher for Coolmore, Editorial displayed an impressive turn of foot which you always look for in a top sire. He has a phenomenal pedigree and the looks to match, he should thrive in the breeding shed,” said Sean Feld, Managing Director of Climax Stallions.

Editorial joins Climax’s stallion roster, which includes Haynesfield, the 2nd leading active sire in California, Bullet Train, Frankel’s three-quarter brother and Curlin to Mischief, a half-brother to Into Mischief and Beholder.

Stud location and fee for Editorial are to be determined.
