(Port Deposit, Maryland) – Editorial, the son of War Front who is the half-brother to leading sire and sire of sires Uncle Mo, will stand the 2021 breeding season at Anchor & Hope in Port Deposit, Maryland.
Editorial was shuttled to Peru for the 2019 Southern Hemisphere season and was scheduled to return to Maryland for 2020. Peru closed its borders due to COVID-19 and he was unable to leave the country. “We were very disappointed that we could not get Editorial back last year, but the world pandemic had different plans,” says Sean Feld of Climax Stallions LLC. With Peru back open, Editorial returned to American soil and cleared quarantine at the end of January.
Editorial’s first crop are 2-year-olds of 2021. “We have heard nothing but great things about the Editorial 2-year-old’s,” says Feld, “And the fact that Uncle Mo and his sons are on fire, we did everything we could to get him back this year.”
Louis Merryman, of Anchor & Hope Farm adds, “We are excited to bring Editorial to Anchor & Hope Farm. Not only does Editorial bring the hot Uncle Mo element, having a son of War Front to add the iconic Danzig line completes our great stallion roster.”
Editorial will stand for $2,500 S&N and he will take part in Climax Stallions’ Ship and Win Program, where you will receive $500 when your mare makes her first visit to Editorial.
