Monstrodamous crossed the wire under a hand ride yesterday to win Golden Gate’s second race, giving freshman sire, Curlin To Mischief, his first winner.
The two-year-old colt, owned by Scott Herbertson, trained by Ari Herbertson and bred in CA by Barbara Corey and Tony Citarella, broke his maiden in just his second start.
“With such a small first crop size, to have a first winner in August is huge”, says Sean Feld of Climax Stallions. Curlin To Mischief looks to continue his success with more runners entered in the next few days.
