Shuster, by Climax Stallion, CURLIN TO MISCHIEF, wins at first asking in a maiden special weight at Santa Anita over the weekend.
The Bay two-year-old took the field gate-to-wire to win by over four lengths. Racing for breeder/owners William Branch & Arnold Hill, Shuster is out of the Unusual Heat mare, Roses for Joni. Shuster is trained by Leonard Powell and jockey Flavien Prat had the winning mount.
Shuster earned $30,000 for his win and gave sire, CURLIN TO MISCHIEF, his third winner out of four starters.
